We settled in our teensie hotel room in Khaosan, the tourist ghetto" but one of the top 10 places to visit in Bangkok, according to TripAdvisor. It's lots of Hostels, Hotels, Restaurants, Bars, Weekshops, Street vendors and all around noisy.

7 floors of stores, mostly higher-end than we'd ever buy, but it was fun. The food court was basically a whole floor of the mall, and had a mock-street-food area, serving inexpensive hand cooked fare. Had dinner there. Had Lunch at Bianca, an italian place on the 6th floor.

We took the opportunity to watch a movie - TRON: Ares. Beautiful theater!
We hadn't been keeping up with movie releases. Liked this 3rd installment in the TRON franchise. Seems to set-up future possible pictures. But it was the only title we recognized.

Made our way to Phuket, Thailand on 10-30 for some beach-time & snorkeling!
Had planned to arrive mid-afternoon and get to our Hotel in Karon in the daylight, but the flight was delayed 45 minutes, then, due to stormy weather, had to delay landing for 15 minutes, then it was rush hour traffic on the bus, and it took 3 hours to get to our place. Whew! But it was only 100 baht ($3.00ea)

Found food after 9pm at "EAT", yummy burger and tacos!
No food pic as we devoured them before remembering to take a picture!

Spent some time on the beach. The sun came out for us!

Spend Saturday afternoon (after rains) walking the town.
After lunch at an Italian place "Caio", Lareena got a foot cramp, so we turned into the very next Massage place
They are every 4th business on every block!
and got an hour each Thai Massage for $9.00 each!
