To Pearl Harbor!

I... was a little salty about Pearl. First, it's not one 'park' or exhibit. It's 5.
It's U.S. Park Service, Private exhibit and Military - Navy base all together.
You could book in person, on-line, or take a tour company.
There's one entrance, and you can't bring anything larger than a small purse/tiny back in past the guard.
So, you had to PAY to check your larger bags here at the Bag Check.
These are not the first bits of information on the varioius and sundry web-sites or brochures.
Here's the information desk inside the 'park'. Lunchtime. Yep, information and the Arizona Memorial break for an hour lunch!

Pearl Harbor Museum (didn't visit)
Bowfin Submarine tour
The museum part was very informative about equipment, tragedy, triumphs and history.
But it's the actual submarine tour that was the attraction. Close quarters indeed!
Arizona Battleship Memorial
THe Navy runs the shuttles to the Memorial. You can go stand-by, or get a number.
1,177 Crew were lost in the attack.
USS Missouri Battleship tour
You board a shuttle bus to Ford Island where the Missouri is moored.
The Missouri is right by the Arizona Memorial.
Our tour guide was terrific!

There's a bunch of planes and helicopters behind the main museum and a hangar! No signage seen - I really thought, "this is it"?

I've been to many air shows from Olde Reinbeck to MacGuire AFB and seen the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels, plus the Canadian Snowbirds.
Still, this shouldn't be missed!
In the end, Pearl Harbor delivered. History, remembrance, great displays. They could make it easier, but it's worth it to visit!
One whole day can do it, but 2 might be more leisurely and thorough.
